  • Marie’s calendar for November

    10. Opened the conference UN Criticism and Reform, arranged by Espergærde Gymnasium Model United Nations.

    11. Attended the UNESCO conference The Nordic Countries, a sustainable region with focus on life long learning.

23- 28. Went to China with the husband, again, in order to promote Danish businesses abroad.

  • Marie’s Programme for October, 2010

1 – Participated with husband in the yearly reception of the University of Southern Denmark.

5 – Time for the opening of Parliament again.

14 – Handing out the French-Speaking Ambassadors’ Literary Prize. This time at the Belgian embassy. (Well, all the partying can’t just be happening at the French embassy…)

15 – The Danish premiere of Mamma Mia.

19 – Meeting a literary legend. Handing the HC Andersen prize to J.K. Rowling.

26 – Attending a concert hosted by the in-laws. Danish researchers are guests-of-honour, and husband is abroad on very important charity mission – which of course won’t get much playtime in the Danish media…

There is the calendar on the iPhone, which syncs with GoogleCalendar and the iCal on my computer. And there is the outlook calendar, which doesn’t sync with anything because it is a special little snowflake…

We also have a monthly calendar where we track travel plans in our flat.

And finally, there is the Moleskine calendar. Strange, that with all the electronic options… The best thing is still to write it out on paper.

  • Marie’s programme for September, 2010

I don’t know why, but I have a sudden urge to keep track of schedules. Possibly to use as material for online discussions, possibly to provide others with collated material to do so.

There is already the project of counting what the Heir Consorts do; now comes Marie’s schedule.
