Ponderings on Diana…
Diana’s been dead a good 13 years now. Isn’t it time for the postcard makers and dreadful plate painters to find a new subject? Are tourists to London still buying Diana’s likeness on a plate? Or is it just a safe bet in these recession-riddled times?
Sleeping in style
I was away with work. My hotel room had one of these over the bed. I didn’t get to appreciate it- I was out like a light the moment my head hit the pillow. But it definitely makes its mark as to where to return for a relaxing weekend.
Bedding
One thing that seems to mark the difference in altitude between countries is the bedding. Warmer countries seem to go for blankets whereas Switzerland and Austria went for duvets.
