The Swedish court just announced on their webpage that Princess Madeleine and her husband Chris O’Neill are expecting their first child.
The court has revealed that the estimated due date is early March 2014.

Princess Nathalie is pregnant.
[picappgallerysingle id=”866714″] Danish magazine Billedbladet had it confirmed from Princess Benedikte, the mother of Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, that her youngest daughter is pregnant. The child will be born in July this year. Princess Benedikte told Billedbladet: “Both Prince Richard and I are very happy for the young couple.”
Nathalie and the father of the baby, Alexander Johannsman became engaged on Christmas Day last year, but the engagement was not announced until January.
The couple were married in a civil ceremony just after the engagement announcement, but Nathalie says in a comment to Euro Dressage News that the religious wedding has been set for 2011, but that no definite date has been set yet.
Nathalie, at 6 months pregnant, is planned to have her last dressage competition before the birth of the baby today at the 2010 World Cup Finals. Her goal is to be back in shape by the World Equestrian Games, this year hosted in Kentucky, USA, in the end of September/start of October.

Marie’s Danish
In this video posted by Her & NU, from Joachim, Marie, Nikolai and Felix’ winter holiday in Switzerland, we can hear Marie speaking quite a lot of Danish. It is evident that she is still learning the language, as she sometimes looks to Joachim for explanation to certain questions the journalists are asking, or how to phrase certain replies, and she also speaks English and French in the video. However, the chief parts of the Danish pronunciation seems to be in place. It does not sound overly French-Danish. Furthermore, she seems to answer the questions in the language she gets them, if she can.
For someone who’s been learning the language for a year, I would say, it is a fairly good effort so far.
For those curious about the pregnancy, they said that it is going well, but that she’s having back-pains and therefore some trouble sleeping. (After which Nikolai was ready with questions about pregnancy- which were probably more detailed than his father was ready to answer in front of journalists, as he was stopped rather quickly 😉 )
