The car arrived fairly early.
(The chauffeur did sort of look like Prince Joachim, well, enough so that the school children standing next to me thought he’d come to pick up his wife.)
The photographers on the other side, urged the children to be jubilant when Princess Marie exited. They were that way on and off before, so it was no stretch for them to do it again. However, it certainly gives food for thought about the jubilant crowds you see in the background of some pictures.
Apologies for the blurredness in the last picture. My camera has some issues when it comes to switching from distance to close-ups.
So, that was my day. How was yours?
Well, I have a cold. 😉 So I stayed at home. I did think about going to see Máxima today, though. Too bad, maybe another time this year.
Thanks a lot for the pictures! I’m not too fond of what Marie’s wearing, but her hair sure does look nice.
I should have taken a picture from the back, because the hair looked exceptionally well in the back.
I was impressed with the outfit in real life, but when I look at the pictures, I do wonder why 😉
Hope your cold gets better.
Great pictures Anne! Congratulations on a chance to see her so close up! She’s very brave to take on a Danish speech at this stage.
